“Within just a few weeks, my speaking nerves dramatically diminished and I felt more confident presenting to clients and speaking off the cuff. Lee arms you with tangible speaking tools, which I found so helpful, and also creates opportunities to practice and get more comfortable.” — Alex, CEO

  • Reading books and listening to podcasts about confidence

  • Scripting and over-preparing for hours

  • Recording yourself and critiquing every word

  • Beta blockers (they help, but you don't want to be dependent)

You've tried to fix this on your own:

But the harder you work on it, the worse it gets.

You can't build speaking confidence in your head.

Presence is a muscle. You strengthen it through practice—not through thinking about it or studying it or trying to perfect it in isolation.

But practicing in your actual high-stakes moments? That's terrifying. And exhausting.

Because the unpredictability is the worst part. You never know which version of yourself will show up.

What you need: Supported practice in low-stakes environments.

A place to strengthen this muscle before you take it to the moments that matter most.

"I stopped over-preparing for presentations and everything feels easier now. This work is strengthening the muscle of being myself."

— VP in Financial Services

Unlimited live Presence Labs

This is where the real work happens. Live practice sessions on Zoom with me and a small group of empathetic leaders working on the same challenges.

These are casual and non-performative. Come to practice or just watch.

EMBODY

Practice regulating your nervous system and anchoring your attention in your body.

Learn to get out of your head and into the present moment.

Labs happen three timex a month and rotate around three focus areas:

EXPERT

Practice organizing your thinking on the go and responding when put on the spot.

Learn how to find your "10th floor" instead of rambling.

EMPATHY

Use your empathy strategically without collapsing.

Learn to read the room without losing yourself in trying to manage everyone's reactions.

“Presence Labs are the perfect stepping stone — a safe place to practice all of the tips and tricks I learn in our videos in front of an audience, without worrying about being judged.”

— Haley, Product Manager

Who this is for:

Are you a mid-career leader who:

  • Is confident doing the work but lose your voice when talking about it?

  • Freeze up around senior leaders or in high-stakes moments?

  • Over-prepare obsessively and still feel unprepared?

  • Is fine one-on-one but struggle in groups?

  • Is confident with your team but lose your voice with executives?

You're at a fulcrum point:

  • From individual contributor → people leader

  • From execution → executive

  • From deferential → creating clarity and strategy

  • From thorough → concise

  • From forceful → magnetic

What got you here won't get you there. You need streamlined simplicity, not more hard work.

Launching February 2026

(As always, I reserve a few pay-what-you-wish spots for people working in social justice or if you’ve lost your livelihood right now—so don’t hesitate to email me if that’s you. We need to hear your voice, especially right now. Thanks for all you do!)

I created Express Yourself Everywhere as the playbook I wish I had.

I was unable to speak, but only in certain settings.

I was confident doing the work. But the moment I had to talk about the work—especially to people in positions of authority—I'd lose my personality (and my train of thought!).

Then I realized: perfectionism was making it impossible for me to be present.

The moment I stopped trying to "fix" my voice, I could speak fully and freely.

When I gave my TEDx talk, I had no nerves on stage. I use all my tools when speaking nerves do pop up. Most importantly, I trust my voice in every room I enter.

I built this framework from the work I've done supporting thousands of empathetic leaders over a decade.

And I want you to have it so you are heard right now.

Empathetic Presence

Leadership Communication Framework

Week 1 to 2: EMBODY

Get out of your head and into your body. Learn to regulate your nervous system instead of fighting it.

You'll stop experiencing brain fog, voice shakiness, and breathlessness because you'll have tools to work WITH your body.

Week 3 to 4: EXPERT

Organize your thinking on the fly. Find the "10th floor" instead of starting in the weeds.

You'll stop over-preparing and start trusting what you know in the moment.

Week 5 to 6: EMPATHY

Use empathy as a focusing tool instead of a distraction. Learn to read the room without losing yourself.

You'll stop absorbing everyone's anxiety and start channeling your empathy strategically.

Week 7 to 8: INTEGRATION

Practice all three together. Build your personal playbook. Strengthen the muscle consistently.

“I feel so different than I did a few months ago. I feel like I can talk to anybody, anywhere." — Project Manager

What questions are coming up?

  • I work with people across industries and seniority levels who want to leverage empathy to make an impact. I’ve worked with many physicians, software engineers, product managers, data science leaders, tech executives, nonprofit leaders, activists, engineering leaders, CEOs, and sales leaders.

  • The program lasts for two months. Over that time, you’ll watch self-paced videos (4 modules over 16 videos). You have lifetime access to the videos—go at your own pace.

The live practice sessions are 60 minutes, three times a month. You can come and practice or just watch. These are casual but structured.

Can't make one? Join the next. Need to just listen? That’s always okay.

The tools you learn will save you hours of over-preparing for meetings and presentations.

  • Yes. Here's why: You're not broken, and your voice doesn't need fixing. When you consolidate your focus in the present moment—in your body, not your brain—you stop reinforcing the belief that you're not good at this.

You've been working hard to "get better." We're going to work differently. We'll build comfort and confidence through practice, not perfection. You'll feel improvement quickly.

  • Most programs teach you to perform confidence or "executive presence." They give you scripts. They teach you to sound polished.

This work is the opposite. It's about liberating your voice, not perfecting it. You'll learn flexible frameworks (not scripts) that let your authentic voice through. You'll use your empathy as a strength, not something to hide.

This isn't about becoming someone you're not. It's about being more fully yourself.

  • This fear makes sense—especially if you've tried other approaches that didn't help. But here's what's different: We're not asking you to fix anything. We're building on what already works for you when you feel comfortable.

You get lifetime access to all the video lessons. You can revisit the frameworks anytime. You can choose to continue in the live practice sessions for continued support after the program for a monthly fee. This isn't a quick fix—it's a repeatable process you'll have forever.

  • The fear isn't the problem. The fear makes sense. You've been in rooms where dominant voices get heard and depth gets ignored. Your body is responding to that.

Overcoming fear isn't about "getting over it" or building false confidence. It's about building tools that help you stay present even when the fear shows up. Tools that replace over-preparation with focused presence. Tools that help you stop performing and start speaking like yourself.

  • Public speaking anxiety isn't just nerves. It's often status anxiety. You're confident in your expertise, but around senior leaders or dominant personalities, you get quiet.

The physical symptoms are real: heart racing, chest tightness, difficulty breathing. Your body responds to the threat of dominance in the room.

The struggle isn't your voice. It's situational, systemic. You need personal, practical tools to help you regulate your nervous system and anchor your attention in the present moment.

  • Yes. The video lessons give you proven frameworks that work for thousands of empathetic leaders. The live practice sessions give you supportive witnesses and real-time practice.

This isn't therapy. It's not in-depth coaching. It's skill-building and practice. If you realize you want more personalized support, private coaching is available—but my group programs have been fully impactful for past participants!

  • Now is exactly the right time. You learn these tools best when you're not under pressure. Practice them in low-stakes moments first. Build muscle memory. Then when the high-stakes opportunity comes, you're ready.

Waiting until you "need" it means you're learning under stress. Start now. Be ahead in two months by starting now.

  • Yes. We offer installment plans and we also have limited pay-what-you-wish spots for those working in social justice or who have lost their livelihood. Email lee@presentvoices.com to apply.

This work will open more opportunities for you. You’ll get tools to position yourself for promotion, negotiation, and visibility. For many clients, this investment pays for itself.

  • This work has supported many neuro-diverse people. Anxiety and attention challenges show up in similar ways. The tools in this program help you consolidate your focus in the present moment—which is exactly what helps with both speaking anxiety and attention regulation.

Full body focus equals presence. More presence means more confidence and deeper connection.

  • Yes, I offer two private coaching paths. Both include bi-weekly private sessions, action plans, real-time support between sessions, and monthly group practice. Visit my coaching page for more details.

  • Executive presence is usually code for performing dominance. It's about projecting authority, commanding rooms, looking polished.

That's not what the world needs.

We don't need more dominant, disconnected leaders who struggle with actual connection. We need Empathetic Presence: people who can speak truth clearly, who use their empathy as a focusing tool, who align their voices with their values.

Empathetic Presence means you stop performing confidence and start embodying it. You stop deferring to authority and start trusting your expertise. You get out of your head and into the present moment.
